First stop: Paris, France (Part 3)
Louvre + Mona Lisa!
There were so many people in the Louvre. SO MANY ASIAN PEOPLE. Our tour guide was hilarious (though she wasn’t trying to be). “IT’S ALWAYS THE CHINESE PEOPLE TOUCHING THE ART! THE ART!! YOU HAVE TO BE EDUCATED BEFORE YOU COME TO THE LOUVRE!” I felt so bad for her and slightly ashamed to be asian but, hey, I was rep’ing USA and I’m not Chinese so, OH WELL.

We only stayed 3 days in France, and the best food there was this chocolate pizza. It was pretty good. I had escargot too, which was okay…I dunno, it was like tako, except not as good. Overall, the food in France wasn’t my favorite…France in general wasn’t my favorite (probably because of the scary street vendors). I really liked the cool weather and the architecture though.
Speaking of architecture… Notre Dame Cathedral was absolutely beautiful. Scary. but beautiful.
Catholic school came in handy when identifying this rose window. One point for SHA.Overall, Paris was beautiful. Street vendors were not. Food was not the best. Fashion was incredible. Graffiti was ART for once. I wouldn’t go back with a tour group, but I definitely would with a local or a few of my closest friends. Maybe with a boyfriend? It was definitely a romantic city, haha. Not for kiddies.
